The name Simply-Erratic is one of those things where I pick a word that I want in my website name and then spend the next two months debating if it should be something like ‘Because I’m Erratic’, ‘Just About Erratic’, or ‘Simply-Erratic’. You probably know which one I ended up choosing. Simple and Erratic basically describes the sort of person I am, which is why I decided to go with what I did.

I started Simply-Erratic when I decided to close my old Neo-Related site, Everneo, and start a blog and resource site. Simply-Erratic.net was purchased and created on June 1, 2008, but did not officially open until June 23, 2008.

Even before Everneo, I had a few smaller, horrible, unsuccessful “sites”, if they could even be considered that. My first web page ever was created with bravenet and lasted a mere couple of months were I barely updated what I considered a blog and fiddled around with the premade templates.

About a year later, at the age of 10, I created a site on piczo. Like my e-mail address, which I created in the fourth grade, I named this piczo site roxxjuliaroxx.piczo.com. It was a top notch professional site, complete with perfect coding and css. Right -_- If only I knew what coding was back then. On piczo, I simply dragged and dropped images onto the page and added music players and chat boxes to the front page, which mind you, were so “in” at the time. Around this time I was getting extremely obsessed with Neopets and decided to start a Neo-Help site on freewebs. This first freewebs site was a complete fail named Neo-FaerieDust.

Next finally came Everneo, which with the help of my friend, Lauren, was able to open. Within two years, Everneo was still a pretty small corner of the internet, but had evolved into a much more complex site with an actual stylesheet and everything and pretty decent Graphics.

Now, a over a year since Simply-Erratic first opened and I am still currently hosted with 1and1 hosting. Simply-Erratic.net has grown a lot in the past year and I will continue to improve the site to give to you the best resources and tutorials.
