Run!

Sunday, November 1st, 2009

Happy stuff-your-face-with-junk-food day guys! I think it’s quite obvious that most of us don’t hesitate to pig out on our candy and treats from Halloween so I’ve made November 1st an official holiday. Not that we don’t start pigging out on sweets the night of Halloween, but the day after is just kind of ‘official’. It’s like, if you don’t eat at least 10% of your candy the following day, you’re a failure in life. That’s just the way it is.

So yesterday was Halloween, and I hope everyone enjoyed their night and was street safe :) Wouldn’t want anybody getting run over by a car or anything. My night was so so so so crazy. I have many stories but I’ll try to sum them up as best as I can for you. So our whole group of friends went out trick-or-treating at around 7:30ish (I will never get too old for trick-or-treating) and since it was so cold out, there was basically no one out. I’m telling you, there were literally two or three groups of people on a street. Once we met up with everyone, we obviously started going to houses to ask for candy. But of course, us, being us, we had to run up and down the streets, screaming, yelling trick-or-treat at the people etc. etc. Then this little group of dick holes politely told us to, “shut the fuck up” so we ran after them, screaming at them for a good 10 minutes. *Smiles*

There was also this house that gave out really good candy, and we went back at least three or four times, and he obviously recognized us, but since there was literally no one out anymore by 8:30, he just kept giving us candy. GIANT CHOCOLATE BARS FTW! So by 9 it was getting really, really pitch black dark and it was even creepier because no one was out and you would be walking under a streetlight completely exposed to the rest of the world while everything beside you was pitch black. I’m so glad we were in a big group or I would’ve probably shit myself. As we’re walking down this one street these three guys on bikes come riding past us yelling something, but they rode away so we’re like ok whatever. Then we walk past this baseball diamond and there’s a bunch of guys sitting in the dark corner of it and they start shouting things to us and is like, “HEY HOW OLD ARE YOU GUYS” and other stuff like that. After a while the stuff we were shouting back and forth at each other were getting really inappropriate so we’re like screw this let’s leave. As we’re walking around the corner though, we see these group of guys sprinting after us and that’s when it all clicked in and we’re like HOLY SHIT THEY’RE COMING AFTER US RUN! They didn’t run after us for long but it was enough to scare the shit out of us. A couple of streets later the guys on the bikes are there again and this time they stopped whenever we stopped and were kind of circling us. Do we decide to run? No, and because I’m that stupid I decided to say hi to them. Bad idea. They kept following us for a good 5 minutes before they biked off.

At around 9:30 we were all tired and all the houses had stopped giving candy out a while ago so we decided to walk back to our friend’s house. On the way, we bumped into some guys that go to my friend’s high school and they decided it would be terrific to moon us and SCAR US FOR THE REST OF OUR FUCKING LIVES. With all that, my Halloween still went really well, and those were actually some of the funniest parts of the night. Hope you guys had as great of a time as I did, and…DON’T TALK TO STRANGERS :D K, bye <3
